An agreed document plan
A matter-specific collection list and record of which documents are available, requested, or unavailable.
Documentation support / For U.S. counsel
Prepare the foreign-document side of the matter for your team’s review.
I help law firms turn an agreed set of foreign investor records into a usable handover. The focus is documentary organization and factual analysis, with clear responsibilities for obtaining records, resolving gaps, and making legal judgments.
When it can help
What you receive
A matter-specific collection list and record of which documents are available, requested, or unavailable.
Organized records with consistent names, references, and links between originals and available translations.
An overview of the sources, relevant entities, and movements included in the assignment.
Unresolved discrepancies and questions, with a proposed owner or recipient for each follow-up.
Before work begins
The first discussion should cover the intended recipient, proposed investment, jurisdictions, records already held, and timing. Translation and certified-translation needs, any authenticity checks, and communication with the investor are agreed separately before those tasks are undertaken.
Fees, the estimated timetable, document-transfer arrangements, and any agreed review or clarification rounds are defined before the engagement. Changes in document volume or complexity may require an updated scope.
This is documentary and factual support, not immigration representation or a determination of filing eligibility. The assignment does not replace the recipient’s requirements, a financial institution’s review, or counsel’s legal assessment. No particular processing time or acceptance outcome is guaranteed.
